Our latest – the i-PRO EXTREME is an industry-leading end-to-end security and surveillance solutions platform. It is comprised of high-tech cameras featuring resolution of up to 4K, that captures the highest quality images even in very dynamic and challenging lighting environments which makes it perfect for use in safe city and traffic applications. The industry standard H.265 coupled with Panasonic’s Smart Coding technology delivers the highest quality images at the lowest bitrates, as well as software-enabled image enhancements for advanced facial and vehicle recognition in both real-time and post-processing.
The Panasonic FacePRO, a breakthrough capability that features a Deep Learning algorithm, can identify faces otherwise difficult to recognize using conventional video surveillance technology. These situations include reading faces at an angle of up to 45 degrees to the left or right or 30 degrees up or down, with a 90% accuracy rate when detecting faces partially hidden by sunglasses. It also has high accuracy reads in matching faces taken from up to ten-year-old passport images.
FacePRO automatically matches a person’s face using live or recorded video from Panasonic i-PRO cameras to a database of enrolled faces and performs notification and alerting of face matches. It provides a real-time processing capacity of up to 20 remote cameras per server and can execute high-speed searches of up to 30,000 registered reference faces. FacePRO achieved the highest level of face recognition in a Face Identification Challenge by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology - United States).
